Hi guys. I am new to this forum. Hope to be a contributing member to this forum.
I'm thinking of getting the Aquarium Landscapes fertiliser line: Formula F, Formula K & Formula T.
Anyone here is a user of the above products? Appreciate all feedback and reviews on these products.
Also anyone know the distributor for Aquarium Landscapes in Singapore?

Here's the link to their web page:http://www.aquariumlandscapes.net/index.cfm

In my experience the fertilisers of the european brands like tetra, JBL, sera, dennerle, tend to be to all-in-one solutions. I.E. they come in one bottle with all the nutrients mixed together.

For US brands like Seachem and Aquarium Landscapes, the different nutrients are separate. Thus you have more control over the concentrations of the different nutrients in your tank. There is also less risk of nutrient imbalance as you can control the concentration of each nutrient. However it means more work on the aquarist's part.

Therefore I am think of getting the Aquarium Landscapes' line of fertilisers. Can you guys share what is your experience with the brands of fertilisers you are using?

    Hi Laconic,

I've seen them before, at a LFS in clementi, commonly known as c328. I don't think anyone here tried them, but here's the address:

Clementi Florist & Aquarium aka 'C328'
    Blk 328, Clementi Ave 2, #01-210, Singapore 120328
    Tel: 67778468

Most of us here use DIY ferts I think, but that's off topic somewhat. Would be interested to know how that line of ferts are like though.

The other "customisable" line that you want to try is Seachem Flourish range.

You may want to skip buying some of the ferts (any brand) though. You can easily and cheaply mix up a K solution using K2SO4 (potassium sulphate). You can dose Mg ,NO3 and PO4 using MgSO4 (magnesium sulphate), KNO3 (potassium nitrate) and KH2PO4 (potassium phosphate).

Traces you can get from Seachem, TMG, Profito, Dr Mallicks etc.

Some of us use a bag of coral chips for Ca and Mg.

Many hobbyists dose only traces, NO3, PO4 and maybe some K and Fe.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
