    And all these are found in Singapore? Man, I hardly see butterflies nowadays. Or maybe I haven't been observing enough. Are they native?

    P.S. I gotta get myself into photography one day. The pictures you guys can take is out of this world.

    yes, they are native. You gotta to visit the nature reserves to observe the more colourful ones compared to those urban butterflies.

    hahahaa.. don't need the best equipments.. if you willing to fork about 1k, you can get a pretty good camera

    Buy one and practice first...shoot shoot shoot...then you'll surely get better...
    rather than wait to get a good camera...then no really have skillz..

    same lens, distance about 0.5m or more. since this butterfly is slightly larger

    yes, please do that. you can also use yr 100-400 with the 500d.. birds, surely have..
