only plant i find has the beautiful flower is a water lily , probably work for low tech tanks
Yes I agree with limz, no other aquatic plants would have emergent bloom as beautiful as the water lilies except maybe water lotus. Both these plants would need full sun and nutrient rich substrate to grow and flower well
Yup cause I guess most of the aquatic plants are water pollinated so they don't need to be bright & colourful... normally just small & white coloured

yes lotus produced a nice flower , but the leafs are really big , i remember mine dwarf sag did flower once , a small ,white colour one , another one i forgot to mention was pest floater water hyacinth , quite interesting looking flower
Bacopa gives small purplish flowers and water poppy light yellow flowers with a dark brown center
By the way, does anyone know where I can get water poppy?
Bacopa caroliniana, the common one easily available from most fish shops
I took my submersed bacopa and planted it emersed outdoors. Never got it to flower submersed.
