As what we know from Mr Thio, ADA distributor in Singapore, the nutrient release from the soil is easier to manage and suitable for beginner. I haven't tried yet so not so sure how is the difference.

Anyone knows the difference between the regular one and this?
After tearing down my 4 year old scape ordered this before I even check it out first (my bad). Bought it since the substrate colour if advertised as lighter and looks more natural than the regular one.
Anyway, can recommend anywhere can buy cheap and in bulk buceps?

Thanks for the fast reply. Not much write up on it on the web.
Basically lighter color... lower nutrient content (suitable for those tanks with less plants) while still maintaining good pH buffering ability.
