Can take closer picture? Looks more like alternanthera sessilis to me from your picture. If they are indeed sessilis, then you shouldn't be surprised that they are not doing well. Cos these are bog plants.
Why is my Altenanthera reineckii not growing properly. Only 1 or 2 shoots at growing tall instead of bushy. Also the leaves have algae growing on them. (Please see that attached photos). My other plants are thriving well and have been trimmed a few times but noth my AR.

How long have you kept this plant? Maybe you have to wait abit longer for the plant to acclimatize to your tank water parameter. Try to monitor the condition of the new leaf.
Ive had it for about a month. The new shoots grew after a while. It grew tall and ive read regarding trimming to make it grow bushy and so i did. But im just wondering why does the leaves grow wide instead it closes up nd pointed up...

There is no label of the plants sold at seaview. Looking at the newly developed leaves it does not look like alternanthera reineckii.
Did a google check on alternanthera sessilis and it is not a true aquatic plant and eventually will melt. That may explains why this plant is not adapting well in your tank while the rest of your plants are flourishing.
After while of staring into the algaes growing on the leave i think its more of the leaves turning green.... its jist a matter of time it will melt... well i guess will have to toss that one out soon. Thanks guys for the infos. Very well appreciated!

It's a sessilis. Will last quite a while submerge and may even grow for a while.
