Great looking tank, think your light spectrum brought out all the vibrant Colours
Interesting to see that you are using 2 wavemakers and installing 3 light sets for your setup. Is your canister filter that you are using under power?
Hi Bracehero and Halfbeak, thank you.
Hi magpie, i find that my tank lack movement. In fact there is one small pump directed flow to the back of the tank.
What happened to the lush growth seen in the before pics?
At some point in time the all lush jungles would need a good housekeeping to prevent the tank from 'choking up'
wonderful looking tank!
looks like you stacked a lot of rocks together!
the big fishes makes the tank looks small though...
shouldn't you put the wave maker at different positions so that the flow is more spread out?
Hi limz_777, it is at 45cm width.
Hi Veteran and Guppendler: I have to agree with Guppendler time to trim up thus must trim.
Hi fireblade, Thank you. Yeap they are kind of big but I do like them very much. The wave makers actually face different angle. I do think that they are too disturbing having them there. Maybe would like to change to having one or two instead. Any advice on which wave maker is good and strong?
maybe 1 infront and one at the back should be enough?
or get those that swivel?
fireblade, was looking at the Hydor koralia 2 wave maker (too strong?) or the Tunze 6045. Which would be more ideal? And what type of wave maker will swivel?
I might have mixed up with swivel power heads and not wave makers
I got limited knowledge on wave makers..
I am using a small sicce wavemaker for my 2 feet tank though
Pretty good ,the 'Red Line Torpedo' look big and out of place, if you do not mind me saying. They made the tank looks small
