I've been very fascinated with pico aquascapes and haven't seen much on the forum. So decided to try one out for fun but I have lots of concerns on how the plants will thrive / struggle. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Negative or positive feedback welcomed Not sure if I should have posted in the beginners corner but this post seems to fit both.

This set up has been running for close to 4 months and was made from trimmings from my other tanks. Including the moss wall. Personally I think it's getting messy because of the moss.

Size is close to 3 litres / 0.8 gallons. 20cm high by 15cm by 10cm.

First attempt on a Pico tank

Made some small changes to the tank. Think it looks quite messy but I Guess that's what happens with moss and Low maintenance.

And yes water changes takes me less than 5 minutes.
Fish is a scarlet badis but removed him from the tank and currently looking to acquire some blue shrimps.

It's a Christmas moss wall, some of the plants include the ludwigia sp red, hydrocotyle, Riccia Fluitans, Hygrophilia and the frogbits. The substate would be the amazonia powder and some fine quartz sand at the front half of the tank
