    Bought this in a local fish shop. They could not identify the plant name.

    Move them to the mid ground or background?

    You should research before getting plants.

    Google 'tropica plants'. Tropica has a list of aquatic plant types.

    I use this site before going plant shopping at LFSs, just to try and identify those common ones so I know where to plant them etc.

    Yes I do check tropica. But still a minnow in plant identification. The LFS also could not guide me with the nature of the plant to take a informed decision. My bad. But learning
