Chihiros A or A plus series

I went to a renown LFS recently and was told that the chihiros are too "blue" for planted tank and thus creates alage quite quickly.

Background: I'm using both the A601 and A301 w good growth but alage problem persist (usual green alage and BBA).

You may wanna do your research on spectrum of lights. I'm too lazy for that. So for the time being I'm stuck w weekly scrubbing of alage.

    A601 (6h) + ada Amazonia + co2 + 2pumps of ada brightly k + 2 pumps of ada step 1 (initial few months). W ehiem 250 classic.

Moha4445, Here is the take. Read articles about Light spectrum and its benefits, then read about algae. Relate both, then you will have an answer.
If I am not wrong, I saw an article couple of years back in which they did an experiment related to the spectrum w/ an algae infested tank.
Quite convincingly, the reduction of Blue spectrum did reduce brown algae significantly. Anyway i strongly suggest you do some reading.
Try to read unbiased articles.... not for certain brand.

There are also another stuff you will need to understand about LED for planted tank. Read about the LUMEN, PAR and WATT.
How the heat can affect the Lumen and Par of your LED. Then you will understand why some LEDs are more expensive than the others.
Sorry bro!! i would prefer hobbyist to read up. Otherwise, too many suggestions may confuse you.
