hi there you know this animal
hi there you know this animal
Freshwater or saltwater anemone
freshwater hydra? but normally very small, not sure what the size of yours.
Hydra has only 8 tentacles, so it cannot be hydra
Hmm.... since no one has the answer to my first post, here's my second.
Just realised my gomi turning black from honey, is it normal?
Hi Chivas, no its not normal.
Its the same as rummy nose tetra, if their red nose is gone, it means water is bad.
Have you check ph and ammonia?

For your first post question, is that a marine set up? If yes the creature should be an anemone, I do not know freshwater anemone exists.
For the honey gourami turning black in the lower anterior region, that is usual for the males once they are ready to mate. They are bubble nest builder, so do provide some floating plants and you could have a mating pair in action soon
Guppendler, the photo shown considered the underside? I thought it should reflect nearer to the portion where the anus is?
Just to gain more knowledge

Sorry after re-reading the threads, I realised your first post questions are on the dechlorinator. Usually overdosing a little is not harmful to fish, but way too much might cause undesirable precipitations (cloudiness) and water pH to rise
So....it's not sick?*phew*
FYI, this is my 1 month old tank set up (first tank) please advise if any improvement can be made.
