Spray soapy water on the connections. Careful on the solenoid part.

Yep. If it bubbles then that's where the leak is.

Ok but how about the solenoid part? What safety precautions should I take?

Well, since it's an electrical part, try not to get any of the water to it. Cover it with plastic wrap and do not spray too much.

So the main part of this test is concentrated more on the hoses right? Not the solenoid?

I normally use sponge, those for washing dishes, put soap and water and use it to wipe the join.

    Thing that I check:
    - Tank to regulator join
    - Needle valve - hose
    - Check valve - hose
    - buble counter - hose
