    Tank: Dophin GT3002 35x22x28cm 19litre/5 gallon
    Filter: Ocean Free Ultra Slim 260L /Hr
    Filter Media: Azoo 4 in 1 , Mr aqua Ceramic Ring.
    Light: UP Pro Led Light 0.5W x 7 PCs , 40lm/ pcs
    Soil: ANS planta soil
    Plants: Java Fern, nana anubias, Monte carlo
    Fauna: intending for 1 betta only.

    Any Pro can guide me on what i should do? Cycling this tank right now. gonna add fish in 2-4 weeks time. My Monte carlo seems to be carpetted wrongly.

    You should not be having any problem.

    Your tank is great for a Betta, with a lot of living space for it to explore around. The plants are well-arranged, very nice! Stick to the personal style you prefer.

    For good surface agitation, the tank water level should be at the same level as the water outlet of the filter. This way, the water coming out of the filter will push the water surface to every part of the tank instead of it falling on one spot only.

    IMO, you should plant the Anubias (front right) and Fern (back right) on piece of driftwood or stone. If planting it on substrate, the rhizomes should not be buried under substrate. Otherwise, it will be rotten.

    They are all tied on driftwood, think cause same color as substrate hence camouflage.

    Photo not very clear but looks like ambulia to me. I have it in my tank and it grows like a weed. Perfect hiding place for shrimplets

    think you should do some water change and plant your MC deeper they are too long now ..

    Change my carpet to some carpet seeds bought from Lfs in Tampines. Dosed daily with seachem excel. Stock with betta, 3 oto, 2 white cloud minnow , 2 nerite snail , 3 Amano and cherry shrimps ( dunno how many cause some eaten but got new shrimplets)
