Nice angels u got there!
😔 the Angel dad died, I think from exhaustion. It's very protective, he'd been gathering the babies, my boy said he's a Hero. Angel mom is full of eggs again. Now the babies are all free swimming.

Very endearing to see a Mother animal caring for its babies. Thanks for the updates and sharing
how about your filter for the planted tank? you are using canister or sponge filter?
my last batch of fry disappeared mysteriously, i saw one alive and two dead in the canister filter, out of around 100-200 fry. sponge at the inlet didnt help me.
I stopped canister and switched to two sponge filters, removed half the plants and soil.
second batch of fry is a week old, 40-50 survived out of 200+
Hi Madhav96001,
Sadly my brood all perished. You are right, maybe they got sucked down my sump. They actually disappeared.
I am using overflow pvc pipes.
