Co2 Tank/solenoid regulator Problem

Hi Guys,

have an issue here but don't know whats the source of the problem.

I have a co2 tank with a solenoid that comes with 2 regulators. Just refilled my tank few days ago and found out today is empty.( no wonder my fuzz algae is blooming!)

When turned on, there is a click sound. Prior to that, on the day i collected my refilled tank, fixed everything and tuned the co2 to the bubble count that i want, i somehow felt that the bubbles were inconsistent, and valve has to be turned a little more to achieve what i want.

So my question is, is the co2 tank's valve faulty or the solenoid regulator? If tank's valve is faulty, can it even be refilled in the first place? I remembered having one faulty tank that cannot be refilled as the valve is faulty.

did you do soap bubble test when install the regulator? it could be leaking somewhere

Nope, have not done the bubble test yet. Solenoid part seems ok. Was wondering, if its the regulator that is broken, worth repairing? It was working fine before i removed it to refill the tank.

I would suspect leaking somewhere. did you remember to put the washer when you assemble back?

yup, this one got put. I did a soap test, nothing happened. Decided to try the regulator again, and true enough, by the second day, tank was empty. Suspect the needle valve is faulty. Just to confirm with you guys, if co2 tank is faulty, by right shouldn't even be able to refill right?
