I can't add Molly as I have guppy fry. Does sae eat fry?
Either you place the fry somewhere or the SAE will eat them if they can fit its mouth. SAE are omnivore, not true algae eater like Oto.
Does oto eat hair algae?
Yamato works well for me, patience + starving?

I tried ghost shrimps. Don't really see them eating the algae. Instead they competed for food meant for my fishes and corys. Sae helped for me. So did reduction of lighting duration. If you have co2 you can try increasing it a little.
And if you dose ferts you can try increasing the ferts a little too.
I use an army of shrimps, horn snails, Ottocinclus, but the best way to take care of these age is to get yourself an toothpick brush, the type that is used to clean in-between the teeth. These you connect to a 3mm brass, plastic pipe, then use this to curl even the smallest amount out of your tank on daily bases. After 4 month (initial start of tank) my alge is reduced to 90% and for sure in some weeks its all gone.
Rosy Barbs slurps green tread algae like noodles.
