Closer image on the mid section support.

I also recycled the extra woods and attached it across the racks as top support then drilled it to my wall.

Hope this helps! If you're thinking of doing one for your aquarium.

Thanks! But it's nothing really, I believe anyone could do it one eye closed.

Hi bro, thanks for your kind compliments but definitely not soon, I still am clueless of how to grow plants in an aquarium. Besides light, co2 and temp.

    A month+ update.

    Fertilizer: Dennerle's S7, E15 & V30

Weekly dosage according to dennerle's guide.

Trying to get my water test kit a.s.a.p

My tank had thread algae issues, but resolve and found that the high nutrient Amazonia was causing it.

Added few other plants to absorb the access nutrients as well.

Still need to do some re-scaping since the original sand path collapse.

As for bio load, I moved all the Rams to another tank and added 1 starlight, 2 samurai g. 5 (not so)red pencil fish along with 6 pygmy cory.

I'm also looking to add s. repens. anyone knows where can I get them? Tia!

Re: First Aquascape Attempt: What's to do next?

Laying egg crates to the floor of my tank to protect against accidental knocks from rocks during setup.

Stacking garden cells to create a higher back instead of using rocks saves cents and weight since I had issues with the rack I'm using. I wish I had space to use a proper rack tho.

Thought this was going to be my final scape but later remove some soil and replace them with sand.

    Mistake:

When setting this up, I did not fill the soil evenly across that later cause it to collapse and caved in.

    To have a better comparison.

I also need some more plants recommendations. Anyone? Thank you in advance plant people!

Good setup for a beginner. By the way, will the rack hold the weight of the tank? It looks weak.

Re: First Aquascape Attempt: What's to do next?

    Hey thanks @torque6!

I had to DIY an additional support dead center to support total weight of the tank. On paper, that rack could hold max of 50kg. But so far so good. I could add extra support to the current one or just replace the racks to be on a safe side.
