Maintenance? How do I know that my tank condition is right? What do I need to do next to ensure my HC is carpeting? They are now pearling is it a good sign that they will carpet?

nice setup...
looking forward to more updates
Very nice!! Next time when I have more time and money I also want to try at a bigger tank.
Hi brother, I notice from your picture that you are putting your tank on a woodern rack. What rack are you using? DIY one? From the holes on the 1 vertical blanks, it seems the height is adjustable. This type of rack can take the weight of your tank?

Hi, yes it's an ikea's IVAR rack and its max load per shelf is 50kg. My rough calculation of my tank's weight was around +/-70kg, I DIY center support from floor up through the available space between the rack itself.

Just 15days old and so much bio load, you should worry more on tank cycling than HC carpeting...

Interesting, I've read somewhere regarding this. And it said I shouldn't worry about the tank cycle as the substrate start formula has BB.
Anyways, only the aquascapes are new to the tank. The filters and medias was recycled from my previous setup, should I still worry?
If so, I could still transfer all my bio load to a spare tank.
Thanks for highlighting it to me!
Much appreciated!
Here's a photo Kingelliot:
Semi diy-ed the rack by chopping off the top half front to have clear view of my tank. Left half of the top rack to hang my tertial work lights.
Bottom - chiller and canister filter
Mid - CO2 cylinder
Closer image on the mid section support.
I also recycled the extra woods and attached it across the racks as top support then drilled it to my wall.
Hope this helps! If you're thinking of doing one for your aquarium.

Nice scape...
You shouldn't place your co2 like that ... it should be upright..
CO2 is a liquid form in the tank, laying it on the side will allow the liquid to enter the regulator and kaput it. It has to stand to function properly.

Do re-position ASAP.
