I live in northern mn and I have a pool (plastic) for my kids. My question is we let it go for a week or two and it was getting slimy so I was going to empty it and my 5 yr old said there were baby guppies in it. We caught some & they are brine shrimp! How could they have gotten in there??!

    Re: Brine shrimp

Those 'Sea Monkeys' have been around since every adult's childhood, lol. And how brine shrimp could be passed off as monkeys is still a mystery to me to this day, lol.

By the way, the eggs could have been introduced into the tub by the wind, animals, etc. They could also well be nymphs of other insectts eg dragonflies, etc.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!
