Nice!! These are pretty common aren't they?
Haven't been anywhere for a month already! Anything of interest in Choong Sua Aquarium?
Cheers,
apparently there are feral populations of A. lineatus in Singapore. Caught by a little boy and brought to CS to trade.

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
actually these are not common, they are the wild-form of the common golden wonder. The other common ones are the native species A. panchax.

Hmm... I had the impression that this species was available at quite a few fish shops, including C328. Perhaps it's something else that looks like it.

What is usually easily available at the shops is the gold variant of this species. Commonly called the Golden Wonder Killie in the trade. One will seldom see the wild-type like this female for sale.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
