ADA aquasoil ammonia spike

Hi guys,

I just set up a new planted tank with one bag of ADA amazonia soil. Even though I'm using a matured filter, my ammonia is at 4ppm even after 2 weeks. Is there any way to speed up the process? Starting to see mosquito larvae in the tank

Hello @Blackstar7 daily water changes will help lots ada does release ammonia the first few weeks

Alright, will start doing daily wc of about 25%. thanks

Yes that is good always helps with ada until ammonia goes down to 0.0000
