New shipment of shrimps arrived at an LFS earlier than expected. Suffice to say, I happily brought 20 pieces home for my nano shrimp tank.

Eight weeks on and I'm pleased to see shrimplets (as well as algae) all over my nano shrimp tank. They look healthy and are growing well.
I'm starting to feel that maintaining a nano shrimp tank is not that hard after all. Here's what it looks like after 12 weeks and counting.

what is the filtration you using?
It's an HOB filter. The AZOO Mignon Filter 360, to be exact.
Hope that helps.

Almost zero adult shrimps left in my nano shrimp tank but the number of shrimplets I see in it gives me hope that the colony will thrive.

Everything is looking good for the past 20 weeks. Recently the pH of my nano shrimp tank starts to drop a little. Should I be concerned?

Close to a half year since I set up the nano shrimp tank. Small issue with the KH and pH but other than that, water quality remains good.

This batch of shrimps in my nano shrimp tank has been around for about half a year but their size remains small and I'm getting concerned.

More than half a year has passed since I set up this nano shrimp tank. Although the shrimp are surviving they are not thriving, yet.

lovely! what kind of moss is that on the wood?
Thank you. That's Christmas moss on the wood. A little side info if you're interested. I chopped the moss in a blender with a bit of distilled water, apply it to the wood (using a brush) and grew it using DSM for a few weeks before putting it in the tank. So far, I've never trimmed it and I kind of like how lush and wild it has grown.

Started feeding the shrimps in my nano shrimp tanks with frozen bloodworms. Hoping the change in diet will help them grow and breed.

Lower light intensity seems to help for the moss that was turning brown but it also led to lesser green algae in this nano shrimp tank.
P.S. The will be no Week 44 and Week 48 update for this tank.

The journal for this tank has ended. Thank you, everyone, who has contributed to this thread in one way or another.
In its place, is a new nano Diorama aquascape which I called "Dragon Valley". Do remember to check it out. Thanks!
