    Hi everyone.

Trying to set up a nano tank. Looking at

    1. Rainbow R250,
    2. Ocean free nano space 1 (16litres)
    3. Fluval spec v.

I realise that all three are similar in some sense but the Fluval Spec v is more expensive. Any advice on which one is better? I intend to keep a betta fish and maybe a few small fishes that can live with the betta fish. Not intending to do live plants too.

    Thank you

    Re: Hello

Did you do any modification to your rainbow tank?

Somehow there are few different kinds of rainbow tank?

This one has a box to contain the bio media http://www.qoo10.sg/mg/413491705

While this one has a bag http://list.qoo10.sg/item/RAINBOW-AL...WITH/410037277

I prefer the box version, easier to clean. I swap the lights suitable for lights, and also put a mesh at the inlet, so my shrimps won’t get into the filter

    Re: Hello

It’s normal for new start up tanks. Fishes will be stressed if your tank is still new due to high ammonia and so.

You can try seachem prime and stability to speed up the process of cycling.
