    Guys,have u ever tried getting rid of the stubborn stains between the top water level and 1-2 inch glass balance at the top b4?I've scrubbed countless times but it still remains there!Lost hope?Can advise???

    it's not so much of a problem
    they're usually carbonate deposits, organic material
    i use the tank water itself to wash it down
    it dissolves, but then again, my tank pH is 5.5

    you tried vinegar b4?

    heh. commercial lime scale removal? go homefix and try. but i figure if you're using it on the INSIDE of your tank,you'll kill your fish.

    use something hard : maybe a metal spoon, see if you can scrape most of it out.

    Yup, diluted vinegar works. You can also use pH minus (basically a weak acid like vinegar) or something like that. I tried that and it is very effective.

    use LIME!
    haha... yeah something abt natural and all so doesn't harm fish and plants...
