    Plan to pick up some in e east but cant recognise the trees.
    Heard outside straits aquarium has a tree. Anyone know which or has a pix? Stand there for 10min but cant figure out

    Google images for Ketapang Tree. The tree trunk is relatively straight and leaves are tear drop like with rounded tip. It is also known as Catappa.

    If you are in town there is one particular tree at the junction of middle road and waterloo st.

    I go seaview quite often as thats e nearest to me hence thinking if can pick up a few pieces. But afraid of getting wrong leaves. Saw a lot locations posted but thats seem e nearest.

    Ketapang leaves are relatively big compared to other trees, usually palm size. Shouldn't be hard to spot.

    Alternatively if your wet market sells banana leaves, you can use that too. Dry it first though.

    From Seaview, walk further up the road to Pegamart, the one with the dog swimming pool. There's big ketapang trees there.

    Don't think they'd mind if you walk in and pick them. Some fall outside.

    The pegamart guy told me last time they dont have even when i ask if any on sale. Looks like they want it for themselves

    Is it the tree beside a heritage building for waterloo/middle road? Just that 1 tree at e compound
