    Hi all!

I’m new to keeping shrimps. Am current having a 30cm L x 24cm H x 17.5 W planted tank with a HOB filter in my office with 9 RCS for two weeks. Two days ago first casualty was spotted and just few moments ago another casualty was spotted again. Water parameter seems good except PH was on a high side:
    PH: 7.6
    NO2: 0
    NH3: 0
    NO3: 0
Water temperature is at 24degree as aircon is always on. Many shrimplets can be seen all over the tank and even more will appear during feeding. No moulting issue as three shrimp successfully moulted in the past 2 weeks. I’m using ADA Amazonia soil.

Anyone have any idea what might be the cause of death for the two casualty, the most recent casualty is actually a berried RCS. Hope you guys can enlighten me. Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Welcome to the forums.

    1) Has the tank been setup 7 weeks ago?
    2) How many water changes have you made for the last 2 weeks?
    3) With reference to water changes, what % of water change were made?
    4) What brand of test kits are you using?
    5) Have you also tested your GH/KH?
    6) Any addictives used in the tank?
    7) How densely planted is the tank?
