Hello, I need some advice for my tank. Is it too tall? Does it pose any danger if it is?
The stand is about 3ft high and the tank itself if 1.5 ft high. The stand is stable. On the rack shelf underneath are some boxes, and when I slide them out, it doesn't shake. If I purposely shake the stand then it will shake.
So... How is this? Danger or not

    Thanks for helping

no one can say. i would suggest you get a proper cabinet done if the current one is just something makeshift you gotten.

    i think you have a 1.5ft cube = 95kg of water.

You need to remove that cloth cover and show a picture of the stand first in order for people to see what the stand is like.

Anyway, I will be very happy to have a tank that high so I don't have to stoop down and strain my neck every time I watch or feed my fish. The standard tank height us more suitable for people who sit on a sofa in front of the tank. And it is hard or impossible to find a ready-made iron stand that is higher than that.

Here's a picture with no cloth (below)
It's an old iron stand. When I got it, the rack was painted black, had some paint peeling and rust, but it was pretty solid. With some help we scraped off the old paint and gave it a new white coat.
I'm going to use an internal filter, so I'm not using the space beneath.
Thanks for your help and replies

Should be alright. Just be careful around it. Would help if you put something substantially heavy for the bottom (like another tank! )

By the way the skirting looks weird.

I really like your tank. Since the stand is made of iron, it is very strong and stable as long as there are no earth tremors.
Do you know where I can buy a stand and tank like yours? I think it is an excellent setup.

The cloth covering is also excellent, though I will not have any pleats along the top edge of the cloth, as it will be neater and streamlined, making it a more boxy look.

To tetrakid: I'm regret to say that I don't know where we can find a stand like this The stand was from one of my relatives, who'd had it for many years until giving up on fish keeping. Sorry that I can't be of much help...
But thank you so much for your feedback about the pleats, I might go and try to achieve such a look

I had a similar stand made by Yonghua a decade ago. Not sure if he still does them. I however had to coat anti rust paint on it as it was just a wrought iron stand.

Ok that's a standard wrought iron stand that you find in most LFS. Usually comes in black or some funny antique metallic paint job. The tank is a 2 x 1 x 1.5 It is a standard size that you can find or order from the LFS.
