Buy a spare tin and keep it in the freezer. It should last indefinitely.
In this regard, it is good to buy those that come in metal tins as they will ensure better freezing. Plastic containers are somewhat insulating.
Should be titled "Fish food" instead of "Fish stock".
Been visiting LFS these past days, from c328 to redhill to Geylang Bahru LFS, to seaview/Y618.
Seems most major brands of fish food are expiring in Feb/Mar 2018. Some of the LFS in fact have alot of fish food which are expiring this month 11/2017. The only brand I recalled that will expire in 2019 is Prodac. Perhaps those were newly distributed brands thus far.
Was looking for Tetra brand Tropical Flakes and couldn't find one that doesn't expire beyond Jan 2018. Can we presume that after Apr 2018, there will be no more Tetra brands?

LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!
my fish food is expired early 2017, but I'm still using it . My fishes are normal tetra though, they are quite hardy.
