    Hi Guys,

We have our Fire Red for about a week and found this is our tank. Is this egg? How do we know if the egg are fertilised and any special care needed? Thank you

That is fungus. Best to isolate the shrimp from the rest.

Salt dip the affected shrimp about 1min and repeat it after afew days until it is recovered

Saw the photo of your shrimps and I remembered an article about this fungus on Neocardina shrimps.

The dreaded "green fungus" Ellobiopsidae neocaridina shrimp parasite and how to cure it

I hope that helps in some way if you wish to do a whole tank treatment.
