    hi bros,

    need some advice
    i just bought a Hailea HC100A chiller.
Intend to cool down a 10 gallon terrestrial tank.
but since such chillers are meant for aquariums, where you need to pump aquarium water to chiller to cool down.
may i know any good ideas to use it to cool down a terrestrial tank?

i looked at some water cooling blocks like these, not sure if these can cool down the terrestrial tank?
    thanks

What are you trying to cool down here? The water or the ambient temp within the tank? Is it a close vivarium setup? Cool down to how many degrees?
You need to be more specific so that others can give the right advice.
Try using a fan, and together with regular misting with good ventilation, it should cool the tank down considerably.

    hi bros,
i am hoping to cool down some critters inside the tank to about 24C
currently i put a stainless steel pot 10L of water inside the tank and pump water to chiller set at 22C.
the water is quite cold about 21-22C but air temp inside the tank is still 26C
i also insulate the tank with styrofoam board but doesn't seems to bring down the air temp inside the tank
    thanks

You can DIY a swamp cooler to cool the ambient air. Some of the guys here have done it for their vivarium and it works.
