    The best way is to view them from above if you can, the female is a more rounded than the male and generally slightly bigger.

    generally round everywhere [] [] [] and they much bigger than the males too.

    clothahump gave you the best answer you're likely to get
    in general, they're fuller in body
    in mature, breeding specimens it's hard to mistake

    thanks guys and i forgot.. girl... hehehhe.. for a moment, i thought it is something like looking at the discus head size... sigh.. ok.. to think i spend 1 hr last night trying to id them.. hahaha.. e.g, the curvature of the head, the fins etc.. now i know.. look from the top.. what a loser i am.. hahaha..[]

    its a lot more difficult with corydoras really. at times u also to know if the smaller cory is a male or in fact its actually younger hence smaller in size. but i do notice that some cory is slightly longer and trimmer ard the 'waist' [] but to 101% IDg them i would say, still quite a task []

    the reason why i ask coz i noticed that some of my trillis have very round head.. and some of them with elongated head.. and not so round heads.. hehehe and thus thought that those rounder head are females.. but alas.. i was wrong.. hehehe.. i have to look at them from the top.. hahahaha[]
