    Hi all!

I've just started a tank and got some plants from an LFS but the employees don't seem to be able to identify the plants that I'm buying from them.

Need some help with the ID of 3 plants and a snail which stowed away on a nana petite. I'm not sure if the snail is a pest to the plants or can help with algae in the future.

Thanks in advance for any help rendered!

    Plant 2:

    Plant 3:

Snail: (This guy is very small, about 1mm in width)

Hi r0xy, I'm not too sure if it's allowed to reveal the shop in this context. Mods, please advise.

As of now, let's just say its a shop in the east area.

I think plant 2 has bacopa caroliniana (the green plant) and ludwigia repens (the red one). I don’t know the others.

I would like to buy the same plants you did so that is why I am asking where you bought them. Hope mods can confirm if you can reveal the name of shop.

Thanks for the reply r0xy. If i recall correctly, I got that bunch last week for only $2!

I tried to PM you but it seems my account is still too green to do so.

For those curious, I figured that the snails are mini ramhorn snails. I took out quite a few but they seemed pretty harmless thus i left the rest in. I seem to have about only 4 left.

Snails looks like a pest snail, most likely hitch-hiked from the plants that you bought (which i assume you did not quarantine them before placing in the tank?)

Quick reference from internet, might be wrong species, but should be same family somehow
