I have seen many articles on setting up a breeding tank and removing the parents after the eggs hatch.
What about eggs hatching in a main tank with many fishes?
I have not seen been able to find any useful articles on this.
If the eggs are laid in the main tank I think it's not practical to remove all the fishes and set them in another place, instead removing the fries while they are still grouped together under the lead seems more practical.
Any advices and things to look out for when removing the fries?

A few things to take note here:

    1. The tank where the fry are to be transferred to, make sure the water is from the same tank
    2. The new tank is being filtered by a matured sponge filter
    3. To reduce the trauma of the fry during a transfer, use a turkey baster
    4. Sufficient infusoria for the fry to feast on after they become free-swimming.

Good luck and keep us updated on your progress!

Unfortunately the eggs were laid under a leaf next to the filter.
Was able to transfer some of the fries to a small container, but eventually the fries all perished after two weeks.
Think the transfer is ok, using main tank water.
During the two weeks, was feeding them infusoria, saw some of them grew, at least the eyes were getting bigger.
Those left in the main tank gone as well, probably got sucked into the filter.
