After much trial and error, finally managed to set up and maintain 2 planted tanks, the blackwater tank is for my betta coccina and the other is for my moscow guppy fry.

Purchased tropica premium ferts today, and was wondering how much to dose into the tanks. Do I just follow the recommended dosage?

Rotala Butterfly has a fert calculator for Tropica Premium. You can choose different dosing regimes like EI, low light EI or PMDD.

Just dose as per instruction first bro. And observe for the plants development to adjust accordingly.

Current state of both tanks, recently planted some short stems of mayaca fluvialitis at the foreground of the blackwater tank and removed the rotala wallichii. Fertilising with 2 drops of Tropica Premium ferts every week. Can anyone help ID the 2 reddish plants in the tank with the seiryu stones?

By the way, will pearlweed(hemianthus micranthemoides) thrive in my tanks? The small leaves seem very appealing. Also intending to swap the 2 espei rasbora for either 3 pieces of sundadanio axelrodi or boraras briggitae
