    Hello all,

I wanted to build a 3d styrofoam background for my aquarium. Examples can be seen here

But you know, singapore being singapore (I wish we can have a home depot here lol), ready mix cement for the consumer use is hard to find. I wanted to use screed though, but i am not sure if it is an okay replacement?

These are the ones I'm looking at

Most of the search I got from google are those bags of cement but a product called Quikrete are sold in 10 pound pail or 4.5kg . It may be too much for your use though .

The foam can be purchased from hardware shop at industrial areas. Polyfoam should be available in 6 x 4ft, 1 or 2 inch thickness. There are blue, not the pink ones ur link shown.
Cement mix, if u are looking for smaller quantity, go to hardware store at neighbourhood area. Ask around, usually able to get 1-2kg packs.
If not, try Self-fix at shopping centre.
BTW, all cement in Singapore are premix. Due to some legislative restriction.
