    Hi,

I would like to find out how do you choose a suitable chiller for aquarium tank?

I am using eheim professional 4 350 + canister filter and ONF lighting.

    My tank is ADA 90P.

    Can anyone give a suggestion.
    Thank you!

Hailea HC130 or 150A would be ok. Choosing is based on size of tank which has to correspond to the flow rate of the chiller. Can also try JBJ arctica but more expensive.

    Re: Selecting Chiller

Thank for all your help guys.
As I am looking for a chiller that is energy efficient as well as quiet =X.
I guess teco 500 is really too good and expensive.
What are the thoughts on JBJ ARCTICA MINI TITANIUM CHILLER DBI-050 1/15HP ?
Is it very far off from Teco 500?
I need one that can work relatively fine with my tank and since I was informed that Teco 500 was "Just nice for my tank" due to the size and the what's not.

    Re: Selecting Chiller

I would pick the Teco 500 over the JBJ, because I can divert the heat exhaust.

But, I wouldn't buy brand new though, seeing how this hobby is on the decline and the likelihood of losing 70% at resale.

Just camp Carousel daily, there may have some 2nd hand sets available.
