    Anyone know what Fish this is?? Choy??

    The pectoral fins look like those that belong to hatchets but the body shape is nothing like it....and so far i see no barbels or anything like that...
    Saw it in a book and they just named it Chela sp.
    Know the exact name?

    can't really see, does it have long barbels? could be Esomus if so.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    no barbels leh..i look and look and look..still see nothing there...
    i thought it was a Danio to start with then At biotope they say it was called indian hatchet the last time they brought it in...Got it from kingfisher some time back..its quite a nice fish.. but BO MIA (no name) one...very irritating..lol..
    i dont think its Esomus leh..cos..the anal fin and second dorsal fin is differently placed and shape different...can see in picture..

    I thought this is Esomus metallicus, anyway ranma's fish got no chiu chiu lah.
