I finally decided to perform a total make over of my old aquascape with Dragon stone. Trying to get a 30% shadow and a visual depth of the landscape.
will appreciate advices on how I can improve on this. Thanks!

A path provides depth as well as those famed holes made with rocks/driftwood or plants.Currently your setup looks like classic iwagumi. Slopes from front to the back also can add depth. As for shadow overhanging rocks or driftwood?

Hi. You can also add more plants to neutralize the nitrogen in your tank.

    Hi CK777,

I think your stem plants in the background may "overwhelm" your scape once they take root. As well as the rosette plants around the dragon stone on the left. If the rocks are suppose to project a sense of majesty, the proportion of the leaves to the scape needs to be taken into consideration.

Do you have an updated photo of the tank?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
