    After reset planted tank issue

This is the condition of my 2.5 weeks old tank after I did a reset to the tank.

These are TC plants which grew well at first until now I can see that some of my plants are melting. In the middle of this 2.5 weeks, I dosed H2O2 to cure some DGA about 1 week ago.

My fishes are also gasping for air on the surface & their gills are red. This happened before my H2O2 treatment.

On top of this, my whole aquarium is cloudy, despite how many times I wc. Could it be because my good bacteria is finding it hard to grow because of the treatment? It's also a new 2.5 week old canister filter.

There is no algae in my tank now, all the DGA have turned white.

There was low pH reading (6ish) which I'm treating with baking soda now. pH is now lingering between 7-7.2. Accidentally used some baking powder LOL! Could this be the cause of the cloudy water? But I've wc like 2-3x already.

Nitrite & nitrate is 0. Ammonia 0. Kh around 10.

Need some advise on how to bring my tank back to life. Thanks.

How long was the tank cycled for? Probably can try some carbon first and see if the water clears.

Re: After reset planted tank issue

I decided to restart my tank. I got a new tank because I think there were issues with the seals in my old tank.

Started 3 days into DSM now... Hopefully this round it works.

    Thanks for the advise
