very amano-like the tank must been running for a few months, since the foreground is fully covered by glosso.. would be nice if u add a red plant to give it some contrast though

see u bought the glowlight danio.. how much u paid for one?

    wah very nice...
my glosso is growing like yours, but got quite a lot of green spot algae even though I have stopped fertilising. Yours doesn't look like there is any algae, share your tips leh.

    Thanks all for the compliments.

    Simon,
Ya, finally found the glowlight danios at Tropical Aquarium, Lor. Harlus.
    $1.50 per piece.
Actually, I've just added a little red, as in Ludwigia arcuata, among the Rotala green, hopes it will turn out nice.

    Choy,
Actually no special tips on growing Glosso.
I do not have green spot on the leaves, but I do have BBA.
What I did was to snip off those leaves infested with BBA.
This also encourage the plant to throw out more runners.

    Whee-wheet!!! Very nice.

Same comment as Simon... a red plant to contrast will be nice.

    Hi barmby,

    No air-con.
    Temp. hovers around 28 - 29 deg.
Am using a 3 inch dc fan to blow on the water surface.
My other 2 tanks have temp. of 26-27 deg.
This particular tank has higher temp., probably due to the heat from the 2 PL lights used.

    Hi chaq,

Those are the normal driftwoods you find at LFS.

Got mine from Capricon, Lor. Harlus.
You got to choose those that have a smooth surface & solid piece, & not some that look & feel hollow to the touch.

In all, the 1 in my 2 feet consist of 3 pieces of driftwoods tied together with fishing line to create the shape I want.
