Bought a MH light with 2 x 150W MH for my 4 x 2 x 2 tank. Found that green-spot algae has developed on some plants even though I only using 7 hours lighting period. What can I do to reduce the intensity?

Don't reduce the lighting but rather try and get your ferts balanced. Adding more po4 will generally get rid of Green Spot. Hows your CO2 doing? Get it up to 20-30ppm. If you really have to reduce the lighting then perhaps some shade cloth (25-50%) may help.

unfortunately not ... don't trust the cables especially at the joint. so I am using the bracket stands with fixed distance

The CO2 is good. the tank is "boiling" with O2 releases.

Floating plants like Salvinia, Frogbits can help. Also serves to remove excess nutrients.
