It works, but it's bloody expensive, not to mention some reports of a residue building up at the output...

Invest in a CO2 cylinder. It is cheaper and more cost effective in the long run. I tried out that electric CO2 before. The plate needs replacement every 2-3 months depending on how you use it. Each plate costs me $45 to replace. There is a smaller version but it will set you back $30+ every replacement. IMO, it wastes away CO2 as many CO2 bubbles were produced and dissipated into the air through water/air exchange at the surface. If you are still keen, let me know, I will sell you my unit, Nisso. However, you need to get your own CO2 plate from C328.
