    quite a number of species there huh, if you don't disclose the location, people might mistaken it for BP

    The first pic of the green parrot seems quite common. Every evening, I see a flock of them flying around in NTU. Are they local or have established themselves here?

    The green parakeets are local, fairly common even in HDB estates (but not often seen as they stay within the treetops). Changi Village has a nesting colony.

    The cockatoos are from Australia and these escapee have formed a small population in parts of the island.

    they are everywhere !!!

    saw them at Lim Chu Kang, Jurong areas and most abundant in the East Areas.

    boh la, where got amazing, just point and shoot one lah.

    all were shot at f8-10. shutter speed.....didn't really notice and all handheld.
    think the ISO was 200-400 for the wild parrots and 100 for the ones shot at the bird park.

    don't need any big lens for these fellas, your 100-400 can already and u can use it in your phototrekker with plenty of space to spare
