    Hi guys,
Would a community of 30 cardinal tetras be happier in a 2ft or 4ft tank?

The bigger the tank the better

Both a 2ft and a 4ft tank would house the tetras well. But the 4 ft tank may look a little bare if there only 30 tetras in it and nothing else.

However a bigger tank would imply more spaces for them. Less drastic changes to the water chemistry due to the bigger volume. And that will make 30 very happy tetras.

Go for 2ft cube would be very nice.

    OR

Go for 4ft landscape look (meaning the height of tank equal or less than18" ).

    Hope this helps.
