Liverpool are the champions of Europe!

UEFA regulations allowing any club that wins the competition fives times or three times in a row to keep the cup. Madrid, AFC Ajax, FC Bayern München and Milan all have originals in their trophy rooms. Liverpool are four-times winners and, should they triumph tonight, the current trophy will find a new home at Anfield.
The current EC trophy will now be in Liverpool's trophy room. All hail to the new Kings

When you walk through a storm
    Hold your chin up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm
    Is a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark.

    Walk on, through the wind,
    Walk on, through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
    And you'll never walk alone,
    You'll never walk alone.

next season's Barclay EPL is going to be a 4-horse race - Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool. All are led by world-class managers

    frankly speaking,
    Milan won the first half.

the second half, was won by the sheer determination of Liverpool.

After serginho missed the first PK, it was for liverpool to take the cup.

it is a really mean feat to comback from 3-0.

next season, liverpool will have more money to join the league race

Milan always think they won the tie when there is still much work to do. Like 2 seasons ago when they got knocked out by Deportivo 4-0, and when PSV almost stole the tie under their noses.

A world class team but nonetheless, not flawless.

I was sacrificing my sleeping watching the match. At half time, I felt like turing off the TV and go back to sleep. Luckily, I say "give them 10mins" and I am glad I did not miss this historical and miraculous display. Otherwise, I would have the next morning.

I wonder if there are any Liverpool fans for going back to sleep at half time.

My colleague, a liverpool fan thru-and-thru, went to sleep at half-time. Well, he thought it's wiser to accompany wifey by the bed. Having difficulty to sleep by then, he got the itch to switch on the TV again. To his jaw-dropping surprise, the score was 3-3.

He stayed on to watch....and the rest was history.

I am not a football fan but I sleep late. So happen to see there's a match going on TV. Saw the first goal and the next 1/2 hour. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up I was surprised to see the score at 3-3 during extra time. Then I dozed off again. Guess what? I woke up again to turn the TV off and happen to see tha last penalty kick miss by AC Milan.

I should have stayed up to watch the whole drama unfold...

I am not a liverpool fan by birth, but one through upbringing. Never experience what it is been like when your supported club won the most prestigeous prize in europe club football untill today.. The euphoria is too much.

Hail 5-time European Cup Champion !

    Liverpool rules once more.

Congrats, to all diehard Pool fans out there. I know many Singaporeans who are their fans and I can understand what it feels to wait so long before your club ever becomes champs.
    Cheers,
    Andrew
