Hi there,
Is there anybody here from India, possibly on the west coast near Mumbai (Bombay). I would like somebody who comes with me to collect wild fish, plants and help out with my office squarium which is 30 inches, by 18 inches (width) by 24 inches (height). Very managable but difficult to keep as the plants get stringy and die. Is it the light or what?
I have three gara-gara, one clown loach, four cherry rasboras and some local barbs which are very new.... they've just been discovered or something.
I have well growing java moss, some crypts and some not so well doing baby tears.
Welcome for a discussions on Indian aquatic plants.....
Ashok

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Hi Ashok,
Welcome to Aquatic Quotient!!
Do share with us what are the common plants available in your part of the world.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
definately do that. My problem is that as an aquarist amateur, I cannot give you their proper names.
But shall try desperately so.
regards
Ashok
