    hi Guys

For those who have been to c328 recently. They have this small gourami looking fish (2cm) that they sell for 4bucks each. Its placed together in the small tank at the guppies section. On the tank writes "Wild something...". This fish is chocolate in colour and have brown stripes on its body and if you look close enough, under lightings, the edge of the fins are bluish in colour. Does anyone have any idea what fish is that and information of this fish?

    Regards
    Gene

Those are licorice gouramis. Very small and delicate fishes. Grows up to 3 cm on the average.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

P Desioni(something like that, mine is a spelling mistake)
Think they are best kept in a species tank and fed with small live food.

    Cheers!

no guarantee C328 got the ID right. these guys are difficult to identify when they don't flare or show colours.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

The spelling mistake should be spelt as P. deissneri.

The ID is pretty sketchy since they were probably given by the importers. I agree with Choy on the non-guarantee that they got the ID right.
