For me when I plant runner plants, I usually seperate them into individual plantlets before planting ( much easier la ). Can this is considered the trimming you're talking about? Trimming the leaves off is not a good idea.
Hi guys!
I've been reading around the forum and the common advice for E. Tenellus to spread into a thick, lush carpet is to trim them regularly.
I was just wondering, if I fill up my forground with more Tenellus, would trimming them BEFORE planting them be a good idea? Would they spread faster in this way? Or would they die due to lack of photosynthesis needed to maybe, produce roots?
Its a real amateurish question, but I'd wanna try it out. Any advice? Thanks in advice!

E. tenullus is a "plug n play" plant. It seems that no matter how one plants it, give it enough light it will multiply... fast.

I seperate them into plantlets too. But growth is slow and runners aren't runnin' too fast. They've been turning a nice pink (enough lights right?) before I trimmed them 2 nights ago. Hoping for the best now!
