On plants... cut the affected leaves or stems and throw.

On hardware... soak in solution of 1 part chlorine bleach to 19 parts water. Scrub. Rember to wear gloves. Rinse thoroughly. Rinse throughly again. Rinse throughly yet again. Soak in water with anti-chlorine for a day.

On driftwood, rocks... boil or soak in just boiled water until the BBA dies. If too large, pour the water over the bba. Cool and return to tank. Shrimps and algae eaters will clean up the dead bba.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

If you want to prevent it from ever coming back, make sure your C02 levels are 30ppm throughout the tank and during the photoperiod. This is only if your tank has high lights and you fertilise.

For "low-maintainence" setups, Seachem Excel seems to do the trick. This is a good link that describes the experience of many people who have used Seachem Excel.
