    Anybody can tell me what plant is this?
    Just newly bought and have introduce into my 2 feet tank as per attached picture.

    Looks abit like Blyxa Japonica to me....bt the colouration might mean its something else....perhaps a more experience bro or sis cld help us out here?!

    I concur... it looks like Blyxa japonica. The colour varies according to light and nutirient availability. In bright light with good nutrients, it gets a fine reddish/brownish striation on the leaves, giving it a very slight reddish colour.. usually not obvous from far.

    People have varied experience with this plant. Some see it die quickly, some seem to be able to grow it anywhere. Under bright light, good CO2 is essential and other nutirents too. It can grow in low light, no-CO2 tanks as well... but slower, smaller, and darker green.
