    Need some advise here.

This morning I did some re-scape of my plants in the tank. I removed some and added others. This evening when I came back home I found my yamato and at least 2 cherries (what I can find) dead as well. Worse, the rest of my cherries look to be dying and not moving at all.

Could this be due to disturbance of the substrate/fertilizer during the re-scaping? What can I do now?

I have since made a 60% water change. Should I do another one soon or do another one tomorrow morning? I have also tested for both nitrite and ammonia, both are 0.

Is this is due to disturbance of the substrate, how can I prevent this in future?

    So sad...
    Cheers,
    Joe

Could also be due the the introduction of the new plants. Did you rinse or soak them before planting them? I know some plant farms use bleach to kill snails or parasites on their plants before export/sale.

Yes I did soak them overnight before planting them. Maybe I should rinse a bit more the next time.
